Charlotte Watson

Charlotte is a conflict and peace-building specialist and a photographer. From her first job in a camera shop in her local town she has been fascinated by photography. Through her work in conflict-affected communities and societies, she has seen the power that images can have and has since sought to document people’s lives as well as the places they live. By giving the world an insight in to the way different people live she hopes to broaden their understanding of human nature.

Charlotte lives in Uganda and has spent the last year and a half documenting the different people and places around the country. She spent time in Karamoja in 2010 which is where many of her images come from.
