Ssali

 

Yusuf Ssali was born in Kampala in Uganda on April 24, 1983. Yusuf is a graduate of Makerere University in Kampala, industrial design and art.  Today, Yusuf leads a life of professional painter in Kampala. He is passionate and creative, and he has a very personal touch. He has its place among my prolific artists of Kampala, and is intended to be a place on the international scene.

 

Yusuf began in exhibitions with other artists in Kenya in 1998. He described several occasions in solo or with other artists in East Africa. He also briefed the Denmark and the USA in 2006. In 2007 he also participated in the prestigious World Exhibition in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.  This event takes place every two years and brings together contemporary artists from around the globe.

 

In December 2007 Yusuf and other artists of Uganda has exhibited for the first time in Brussels. The exhibition was very colourful and very appreciated. Yusuf continues to weave its web in the world of contemporary art, this time is that you visit the gallery Polish Natta, 17 rue de la Madeleine, in his exhibition "color and soul."
